Juliane Block is a film director for live-action and stop-motion, based in Germany. Her work spans feature films, shorts and experimental pieces — often built around characters caught between worlds, languages or moments in time.

Alongside directing, Juliane runs Raav Films, an independent production company that also produces documentary work, and jBlockbuster.eco, a green-consulting practice that helps film and television productions reduce their environmental footprint without compromising the craft.
